CHARO EZDRIN, ESQ.
Charo Ezdrin opened her own law firm in 2010. As a former prosecutor for the Nassau County Attorney’s Office, Charo litigated abuse and neglect cases in Nassau County Family Court representing the Department of Social Services. As Assistant Director of the Legal Department, Charo was responsible for providing legal counsel to Child Protective Services; Services to Children and Families; Juvenile Detention Center and to the Office of the Commissioner. Charo represented the Department in Family Court, at fair hearings, including: expungement; childcare applications; foster care removal and adoption. Charo was a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team at the Coalition of Child Abuse and Neglect.
Currently, Charo is the Principal attorney of her firm; which includes 3 associate attorney’s and 2 paralegals. Her area of expertise is family, matrimonial, and criminal law.
Prior to opening her firm, she was the director of Government Relations of Nassau County. She was promoted to this position by Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi. Charo was the liaison between the county executive and Nassau County Legislature on many key matters such as budgets, legislation and local laws.
Today, through tireless efforts she tenaciously defends her clients with vigor and determination. Ms. Ezdrin received her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and was a recipient of the Geraldine A. Ferraro Award for Courage and Grace. She is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, Nassau County Women’s Bar Association, previously a Commissioner on the Nassau County Bridge Authority, and an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association Matrimonial, Family, and Criminal Law Committees.
Charo Is the proud mother of two girls Jacqui and Alexi.
BRIAN WOODS, ESQ.
Brian Woods, Esq. started Ezdrin & Woods, P.C. with his partner Charo Ezdrin, Esq.. in May of 2016. Prior to forming Ezdrin & Woods, P.C., Brian worked as a law clerk and associate attorney for the Law Offices of Charo Ezdrin, P.C. Brian graduated from South Texas College of Law on December 14, 2013 in the top 20% of his class. During his second and third years in Law School he was a law clerk for the firm of Busby & Associates, P.C. in Houston, TX wherein he worked on cases concerning a multitude of family law matters. Before enrolling in law school, Brian worked as an oil laboratory technician for Inspectorate in Harrahan, LA and as an AIDS research technician for the Tulane National Primate Research Center in Covington, LA. Brian received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Houston in 2007. Brian firmly believes in fiercely advocating for his clients fairly and competently. His area of expertise is in family, matrimonial and landlord/tenant law.
Brian is the proud father of one son Sebastian.
SAMUEL A. GLUZBERG, ESQ.
As a former prosecutor, Sam represented the NYC Administration for Children’s Services in all family court child protective proceedings, including conducting hundreds of trials and contested hearings; drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents; and negotiating settlements for his clients.
Sam serves on the Nassau County Attorneys for Children Panel and Nassau County Family Court Assigned Counsel Panel, where Sam represents parents and children in all family court proceedings including custody, visitation, child support, family offenses, neglect/abuse, paternity, enforcement, modification, and juvenile delinquencies.
Sam received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and is admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of the United States and New York, including the United States District Courts for both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. During law school, Sam worked in the Bronx and Brooklyn District Attorneys’ Offices, the NYC Office of Labor Relations, and studied at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China. Sam received his B.A. from Rutgers University and is fluent in Russian. DEEP CHOPRA, ESQ.
At EWG Law Firm, as an Of Counsel Attorney, Deep Chopra, ESQ., focuses on Real Estate law and Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning within the outside employment guidelines from his current employing agency. He specializes in personal and commercial real estate transactions, establishing trusts, and drafting wills with an emphasis on Medicaid and Estate planning to safeguard your hard-earned money, to make it into generational wealth. Licensed to practice law in New York as well as the High Courts of Mumbai and Goa, India, Deep offers a global perspective to his clients.
Deep Chopra brings a wealth of experience to the EWG Law Firm, combining his expertise in federal government service with a dedication to helping clients achieve their legal goals. In addition to his role at Ezdrin, Woods, & Gluzberg, P.C., Deep serves as an officer with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where he manages national border security programs. He is the prosecutions liaison and an expert witness for the Office of Chief Counsel, assisting federal, state, and local prosecutors. Deep has provided expert testimony in numerous terrorism and criminal trials leading to convictions, as well as civil trials that saved the federal government and the City of New York millions of dollars.
Deep is an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association (NCBA), serving on the Real Estate and Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning committees. His commitment to public service has been recognized with back-to-back honors in the solo attorney category as the “Top Provider” of pro bono services, representing numerous indigent clients in the Mortgage Foreclosure part of Nassau County District Court.
Deep holds an undergraduate degree in Business and Accounting, a Bachelor of Law degree from Bombay University, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Touro Law School in Central Islip, Long Island, New York, where he was awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in American Legal Systems. Fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, and Urdu, Deep ensures clear communication with a diverse client base.
Outside of his professional life, Deep is a low handicap golfer and a proud husband married to a U.S. CBP Officer and a proud father of two accomplished sons: Dr. Deep Vansh Chopra, MD, an Internal Medicine doctor who works in the Cardiology Department at Christiana Care Hospital in Delaware, and Dil Chopra, a biomedical engineer in Palm Beach, Florida.

LOUIS CACERES, ESQ., Associate Attorney
Louis joins the Law Office of Ezdrin, Woods, & Gluzberg, P.C. with years of experience and training as a Law Clerk. Louis received his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Farmingdale State College.
Louis does not only bring passion to every project he works on, but he brings an unmatched level of care and compassion to his work as well. This is what led Louis to join Ezdrin, Woods, & Gluzberg, P.C. His years of experience as a student, business professional, and Law Clerk is what makes Louis such a valued part of our team.
In his free time, Louis enjoys watching professional sports and exploring new restaurants on Long Island.
LAURIE ANN ELLUL, Office Manager
Laurie Ann is the backbone of Ezdrin, Woods & Gluzberg, serving as the firms de facto team captain. With a background as an office manager for a Long Island based real estate firm, she brings strong organizational skills and leadership to her role. Laurie Ann is often the first point of contact at the office. Whether coordinating operations or assisting clients, her expertise and dedication help keeps everything running smooth. Married to Joe and the mother of two children, Christina and John.
